I am in the process of moving to NYC. I decided to stay with my family in denver for the summer in order to save money as well as spend time with them before moving across the country. What a ride it's been. Joyful and stressful at the same time. It's funny the way you start to see your family when you haven't spent days on end with them in years.
THE KEY PLAYERS
1. Mom - Lovely woman, funny, charming. She can turn a simple story into a three hour venture. Stopping to do little chores and starting the story up again right where she left off...whew! Mom, just finish the story already!!!
2. Mothers Boyfriend - Wow! I don't even think he has hit the age of 50, but for some reason he acts as if he just turned 89! Bitter and bitchy, to an extreemely comical point. Is life really that awful? Aparantly for some.
3. Little Sister - Mother of two at the young age of 22, soon to be 23. She's a great mother, recently widowed, sadly. I am not sure she knew what she was getting into. I guess you never do. It's her way or the highway!
4. Nephew - What a babe! He's awesome. Two is the magic number. He will test you until you are seeking tranqalizers on the black market! Love him to pieces.
5. Niece - Five months old. Too smart for her own good, already!!! I swear she is gonna be talking, walking, starting her own band by next week!
