I recently have been sewing for Kingsland Printing, Paper Mansion, and Cook & Gates. Below is a sample of an oversized kangaroo pouch tank that I made for Cook & Gates. They also make amazing bags and scarves.

Summertime

I've been back in New York for almost two weeks now. The day I returned it was so hot and humid I thought that I was going to melt! When I entered my room at my apartment it was basically like walking into a sauna, as no one had really been in it for almost two months. Thank god my roommate had an extra air conditioner lying around! Now my room tends to feel more like a refrigerator, which is fine by me. I hung out with friends in the park that evening, well after midnight and it was still unbelievably hot and sticky! The weather became drastically tame after that first day back. Thankfully!!!
I can't really say that I have done a whole lot since my return. Just the basics: hanging out with friends, drinking, sewing, watching bad television on my computer. The weather has been so nice. I need to get out there and enjoy it before it becomes unbearable! Time to start experiencing New York again, and all that it has to offer!
