Home
After spending a week in San Francisco, two weeks in L.A., back to San Francisco for two weeks, L.A. for a weekend, and Denver for a week, I am finally heading back to New York today.
When I arrived at the airport the desk clerk was unable to find any flight information for me. It turns out that my flight was actually suppose to leave tomorrow! I guess that's what I get for never looking at my itinerary until the very last minute. Fortunately, I got on a different flight that lands just a couple of hours later than my original flight. (Or at least what I thought was my original flight. Haha!) Unfortunately I have a layover in Atlanta!
I can't wait to sleep in my own bed tonight! It's been way too long!

Sicko!
So, I have spent the entire time that I have been in San Francisco/Los Angeles/San Francisco with some variant of cold and or flu. Next stop Denver. I am in hopes that there I will find myself in a more comforting state of health!

One Night In Bangkok a.k.a. Last Night Out In Denver
Last night I had dinner at my dear friends, Leila and Mike's house. Leila is an unbelievable cook. She never ceases to amaze me!
Fist we Had polenta with leeks. Oh so delicious

Next, mixed greens with the most awesome homemade dressing.

Then, orcchiette ( I think the pasta was actually something else), arugula and chard in a pecorino wine broth. Amazing!!!

Finally, creme brulee. Mmmmmmmmm!!!

Leila's keychain collection.

Pretty Kitty!!

We headed over to the "Rockbar" for a drink. Coolest wallpaper ever!!!

We went back to the apartment and had a few more drinks, and then we went for a walk.

I liked this girls shoes.

A box of donuts on the ground. Notice that one has a bite taken out of it. I guess they weren't that good after all.

I took a cab home. The cab driver was from New York. We talked about New York vs Denver the whole way home and when I got out of the cab we took a moment to stare at the moon together.

THE END.
