Christmas Spirit

Thursday afternoon I met up with my friends Jessica and Ellery, who both use to live in San Francisco, in Manhattan, despite the fact that it was bitter cold and windy. We went to the Museum of Modern Art for the Tim Burton exhibit. He's done so much amazing stuff, and he is oh so very dark! After the museum we walked over to Bergdorf Goodman to check out the holiday window displays. Wow! Probably the best window displays I have ever seen! My pictures don't do them a bit of justice! From there we walked over to Rockafeller Center to see the tree. I can only imagine how they get the tree there being as enormous as it is. I assume it's magic. I've never really been a Christmas person, but just walking around New York at this time sure makes you feel the Christmas spirit. Next we went to Union Square and ate Mexican food. Our friend Michelle happened to be working at The Tribeca Grand so we headed over for some drinks and dessert and so much laughter that I now have abs of steel. Finally we hopped on a train to the Lower East Side and had a few more drinks at Motor City. I guess we had more than a few, cause we were there until last call. I ran into an old friend, Damacio, who I haven't seen in years. It's so funny how big New York is and yet I always manage to randomly run into someone. What a great day! Too bad it left me with an awful hangover!
