Magic Happens to Magical People
Nido was just featured on Daily Candy, which I happen to think is pretty BIG! Not only are Cecilia Elguero's, aka Nido's designs stunning, wearable and compelling, but she also happens to be my best friend. I might be bias, but I assure you... you won't be disappointed. Check her jewelry out. Better yet, WEAR IT. Currently her jewelry can be found locally in Brooklyn at Life:Curated on Grand Street between Bedford and Driggs in Williamsburg and at Mary Meyer's, 56 Bogart Street, at Harrison Place in Bushwick, as well as her website, nidodesuenos.com.

About Last Night...
Last night was one of those nights that you plan on staying in, but somehow manage to find yourself out and about. You have the best time ever, but pay for it in the morning. So much so that you have to call in sick to work.

Accompanied By Nuns
Last night some friends and I went to an art show at The Convent of Saint Cecilia in Greenpoint. It's run by a priest who apparently has an appreciation for the art community. Every room had an istallation by a different artist. Around 50+ artists.
The space itself is amazing and quite large. Strange to think that at one point, nuns lived there!
I wish I had taken note of which artists did what pieces, but it's hard to take pictures, drink beer AND take notes!
